There are various ways you can now search using different criteria.
Boatshed goes Responsive! Today, nearly 30% of Boatshed's traffic is mobile. By the end of next year, this may exceed 50% Tablet sales are expected to exceed 100 million this year. Smartphones, of course, are also a hot commodity, with the majority of people now owning a smartphone. The shift to mobile is happening at an extraordinary speed. For those of us who create the Boatshed websites and services, all this leads to a singular conclusion: A million screens have bloomed, and we need to build websites that work better on all of them.
Before you travel to view a boat, check out all pictures and video of every boat for sale. Our brokers take all their own pictures so you can see the up to date information and full inventory of each boat.
If you are thinking of selling your boat, then have a chat to one of our Boatshed Brokers and they will explain how Boatshed can help sell your boat and what they will do for you.
When we're at sea we always like to cook proper food. This meal always tastes great at sea and its easy to cook in a lively chop.
We first saw this on a local ferry, they shoot across the harbour at 15 knots, their ensign extended at the stern and if you look carefully you will see a strip of netting sewn onto the tail end to protect from whipping its self to rags.
The process of getting your boat ready for sea is a therapeutic and systematic approach, I love the fact myself and my partner work away with no talking getting the boat ready. We tend to use the same mental check list for a small or long trip as its a real pain when you don’t lock the fridge or drawers fly open when you have a bit of a squall and you’re needed on deck, but need to clear the broken eggs up off the floor! Hence its great to be prepared always for long or short trips.
I’d only gone out for a couple of hours dog walking, whilst my husband stayed behind to do “boat jobs”.
Cooking on board is always interesting on our Westerly Konsort, the galley area is not vast, but this is the season that I am going to see just what I can come up with to feed a hungry crew.
