Broker's Comments
This Camper & Nicholson 177 ft custom built motor yacht was built at the Camper & Nicholson yard in Gosport in 1937. Since then she has had a varied history, including some time as sonar test target for British submarines during WWII. She has had refits in 1984 and 1999. The hull is steel and the superstructure aluminium. Her current owner bought her in 2008, after a survey in which the boat was valued at 4 million USD. She is now offered for sale at a much lower price and with the owner listening for offers. The yacht does require quite some money to be spent on her to bring her back up to standard. In principle, she offers accommodation for 15 guests and 18 crew, but in reality several cabins have been converted to storage and workshop. The teak decks seem to be in good condition. The engines are in working condition and so are the generators, the air conditioning and the navigation equipment. Nevertheless, the yacht is maintained by the engineer only and she proves to be too much work for just 1 person. The yacht could be considered as a floating events location or as a private club. British flag. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
Bandera inglesa. Nota: se pueden considerar contra-ofertas.
