Broker's Comments
This unique example of the Countess 37 design offers a level of comfort and equipment that you would not expect to find on a vessel of this size, including an internal wheelhouse.
Fitted out by traditional shipwrights, she is a serious cruising yacht with long distance ability.
Her galley is equipped to the standard of a home kitchen, good size usable work surfaces with a domestic fitted 240v microwave/grill that isn't reliant on plugging yourself in on the quay.
The interior layout gives a spacious feel, with American light oak joinery throughout giving a light living feeling to the yacht.
Her Perkins engine was overhaulled in 2003.
Fitted with the full length skeg rudder, and equipped on deck for easy sailing, and with powerful bow thruster making for easy manoeurving in tight marinas.
