Broker's Comments

A very well presented and cared for Westwood 38 Sedan GRP River cruiser offering 6 berths in 3 separate cabins.
She has been very well cared for and her current owners have improved this boat considerably with new upholstery and flooring , LED lighting, Windows re sealed, and a complete re paint including decks in 2 pack paint (with windows removed) all carried out in 2017.
She is powered by a single Perkins 4108 diesel engine.
She really is a boat to be seen in order to fully appreciate how good she looks.

Hi,
Thank you for your comment re engine hours, The owners are rather dependant of the first and subsequent owners keeping a "log" . Many of the Broads cruisers especially ones built for hire fleets do not have hour meters fitted so unless there is an up to date log kept with no missing entries it really is impossible to know how many hours an engine has done I'm afraid.
Where there is an hour meter(s) fitted we do record what the instrument displays but again we have no guarantee of the accuracy.
Kind Regards
Gary

Just a general note of frustration: I am growing increasingly weary of the 'unrecorded' status of the engine hours of boats, recently. I know it is not necessarily the fault of the current boat owners as, life tends to get in the way as we're busy making plans and sometimes, events can simply overtake. However, if you intend to own a boat, please, just record the engine hours in a cheap exercise book. It needn't be a 'Captain's Log' venture. Although, if you slide into Jean-Luc Picard mode, that could be fun.

Hi Tony,

I can confirm the headroom is good throughout and over 6ft 2ins minimum. I will obtain exact measurements for you when next over at Horning,

Gary T2019-08-20 07:34:54

Can you tell me what the headroom is throughout the boat please ?
